Includes 1" dia. x 64" long steel mounting shaft with 1/2-13 x 1" deep tapped holes on each end.
• Outer diameter is nominal. This means the outer diameter is machined for the least stock removal until the surface is:
1. Free of all defects
2. Surface finish of 32 micro inches (Ra). This prevents any scratching of delicate webs - films, etc.
3. The outer diameter and bore are concentric within 0.002"
4. Straight within 0.002" or 0.0005" per foot of length.
Includes:
1. Two low friction ball bearings. One pressed into each end.
a. Each bearing includes 2 socket head set screws to lock the inner ring of the bearing to the dead (non-rotating) mounting shaft (sold separately)
Note: Worn bearings may be replaced using a bearing puller for removal. Replacement bearings are sold separately.
